About The Burly Bear
We are happy that you have visited our online store. The Burly Bear opened its retail store doors approximately eight years ago in the resort town of Pinetop, Arizona. We are now expanding to an online store to better serve our present and future customers. The Burly Bear has been featured in national magazines, the most recent being the May 2008 issue of the Arizona Highways. Our store has also been featured on different local Phoenix, Arizona television stations.
Please visit each of the "About Us" tab titles above to learn more about the Burly Bear Family and the online store efforts to support our American Soldiers and Breast Cancer research.
We invite you to view and shop our online store frequently. We will continue in our efforts to make your visit to our website an enjoyable and entertaining experience. Master Chainsaw Artist
Our family includes and our store features a Master Chainsaw Artist who carves as a hobby and for a living. His carvings have been purchased by customers from all areas of the United States. Pictures of some of his chainsaw artwork are being presented here for your interest and will be updated frequently for your viewing. A link is also available so that you can see our chainsaw artist at work as aired by the Arizona Highways television program in May of 2008.
American Products
Our desire is to present a different type of online store that will be of special interest to our customers as well as a support to our community. We will search for and secure as many American Made products as we can and offer them through our on-line store. We will continue in this effort as long as the American Made product line is supported. Our online store will present the American made products with an American Flag logo shown in the product description box. As an added feature, 15% of all profits obtained from the sale of the American made products will be donated to the federally authorized charitable Wounded Warrior Project (WWP). Additionally, 15% of all profit obtained from the sale of any product designated with the WWP logo will also be donated to the WWP for the support of our American Soldiers.
Baby Pictures
Our family loves babies and beautiful scenes of nature. We have developed separate online display pages of special baby pictures aged one (1) and under. If you have a special baby picture that you believe others would enjoy seeing please e-mail your picture to us at pictures@theburlybear.com for posting on our website. Remember to provide us with the child’s name and age when the photo was taken which will be posted along with the picture. I am sure that we will all get great pleasure from seeing these special little people in action.

Nature Pictures
Just as our family does, we believe that most everyone also enjoys the great beauty of scenery and nature pictures. There is something special and uplifting that comes from viewing these special places. If you have a special nature picture that you feel others would enjoy viewing please e-mail it to us at pictures@theburlybear.com for posting on our website. Please be sure to provide us with your name and where and when the picture was taken for inclusion with the picture posting.

Cancer Support
Just as many other American families have experienced the depressing and ravaging effects of Breast Cancer, so has our family. It is our desire to help in finding cures and treatments for this dreaded disease. We will set aside specific products that will be presented for sale only in our "Breast Cancer Product" Department. The cancer support products will be identified by a pink ribbon logo that will be shown in the product description box. In support of our effort to help in fighting this disease we have agreed to forward 15% of all profits obtained from the sale of these specially listed products to the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF).
As an added service, if you have a special story about someone close to you or your own personal experience with breast cancer that you feel others can gain support and strength from please pass it on to us at comments@theburlybear.com and we will post it for others to read. Please remember to identify the individuals involved. Only the names will be used unless you authorize the posting of other identifying information that you feel would provide additional help and comfort to others.
We ask for your help in supporting this valid cause. For your convenience we have provided a link to the National Breast Cancer Foundation where you can obtain additional information about Breast Cancer and ongoing research.

The Burly Bear Store Location
The Burly Bear store is located in the White Mountains of Arizona in the city of Pinetop. The store is approximately 160 miles northeast of Phoenix, Arizona on Highway 260. We have provided pictures of our store on the home page of this website. We invite you to visit our store if you are ever in the White Mountains of Arizona. Take Highway 87 from Phoenix to Payson where you can connect to Highway 260 through Showlow. Pinetop is approximately 15 miles south of Showlow, Arizona. You can also reach Pinetop by exiting off Interstate 40 at Holbrook, Arizona onto Highway 77. Pinetop is approximately 60 miles south of Holbrook, also connecting through Showlow.
